YBCC will hosted the last Garden Tour in 2017 with a new set of gardens and a few workshops and mini presentations at the end of the tour at Woods Rose Market.
Building Community
The Garden Tour is one way YBCC has helped to build community. If you would like to help organize a Garden Tour in 2021, let one of the YBCC officers know! Families cycle around the town and stop to see varied examples of the bounty we can grow in our backyard gardens. All sorts of exchanges happen, from ideas for raised beds to vegetable and fruit varieties that thrive in our climate. One garden at a time, we build a strong local food system.
Transition L-Town is US Number 143
Our wonderful small town holds the distinction of being US Transition Town 143. Once again, Livingston shows itself to be at the forefront of creating a community climate that fosters connections between friends and neighbors while supporting the transition to a truly resilient and regenerative community.
